Hi,

I've been looking for a duplicate file finder that will create hardlinks for a while, and the one I had found before didn't work, so congrats!

Looking forward to the next version.

Can I suggest a couple of things?, don't resize the columns in the Duplicate Files tab when Start is clicked again, it's slightly annoying to have to resize the columns each time, and when resorting the tab (eg by size), it would be helpful if the colours in the Groups column were changed, so that now adjacent groups had different colours.

But it's a nice program!

Thanks again.

Glad you like it!

I'll have a look into the resizing issue for version 1.3. The root of the problem is that the tables are recreated for each new search. The colouring of the groups needs reviewing as well.

Thanks for your suggestions - I hope to post a changelist/progress log for v1.3 soon.

What a great app! Thanks so much.

Is there a mailing list where we can be notified of future releases?

By looks of the posts there are some "power users" that utlize your application - a grreat compliment itself. I am a simple user and while I may have found an instnataneous "I wish" nothing seems to crop up as a major issue for me. I had only found one other program of similar nature to yours and have so far recommended your app to several acquaintances as the better/easier of the two (funny I can't recall the name of the other!). I applaud you efforts, with sincere thanks.

Jace - no mailing list yet, but I'm considering it.

Duplicate Cleaner is going to save me literally hours of time keeping all my files straight. Is there any way I can donate money to Digital Volcano or a favorite charity of yours?

There's a paypal donate button on the Duplicate Cleaner homepage (www.digitalvolcano.co.uk/dupe.html).
Thanks! :)

Great program!! Love it. Works good and is simple to use.
Thanks for making it available for free! Keep up the good work. I would like to make a donation, but don't know the UK and USA equivalents?
