Unable to remove Virtual folders

v5.25.0 64 bit on Windows 10 Pro

Please see the first screenshot from the 'Home' tab below.

When I select the Virtual folder I want to remove, then click the Remove folder button it removes the folder from the drop down list as expected.

But when I switch to the 'Scan Location' tab and drop down the list of available Virtual folders on the 'Virtual folders' folder (See second screenshot below), the Virtual folders removed in the 'Home' tab are still present.

Is there a way to completely and permanently remove individual Virtual folders?

Thank you!

It should have been removed, but you may need to click on the 'Refresh folders' button under the 'Available folders' list to refresh the list.

Thank you for your reply.

There seems to be some other problems with this. When I used DC again today, the virtual folder that I previously removed successfully on the Home tab, reappeared in the Home tab even though it was previously removed. So for some reason it was not removed permanently even though it was temporarily removed from that dropdown list.

I manually deleted the .dcvirtual file for that virtual folder and that worked.

I am not sure if the file size might be a factor. The file was over 10 MB in size so it was pretty large.

===UPDATE===

I don't know if this is the cause or not, but just want to mention that the name of the virtual folder had a # symbol in it. May not be the problem but I know that sometimes symbols in names can cause an issue so I though I would mention it.
